ABOUT ME

ONE of the essential concepts of street photography is called “The Decisive Moment”. The fraction of a second – the blink of an eye where all of the essential ingredients of content, form, transient all merge into one frame.

In my photography style, I chose to see people as the central theme in that moment, using an authentic 35mm film camera to bring the viewer close enough to touch the scene, close enough to feel like a real part of that moment - where it all merges.

My childhood in Haifa, ISRAEL in a rundown neighborhood, growing up in an area where people delt with scanty means and a mix of races and religions were definitely a major factor in this style of photography that I have chosen. It let me the ability to have an intimacy with the street and the amazing stories that it produces.

This passion for street photography, especially for streets and people with no name, found a dignified place to express herself.

In MAY 2015, i was requested by the gallery of "Ammunition Hill" in Jerusalem to exhibit my work.

The 37 images – moments – in this black & white exhibition were taken over the years in the Old City, Mea Shearim, MahaneYehuda market, and They are part of  my journey in amazing streets and cities around the world.

I called my journey - "THIRTY SEVEN MOMENTS".
